In a bid to get a better perspective into the Aarushi-Hemraj murder case, the Central Bureau of Investigation subjected a key suspect, Rajkumar, to a second narco analysis test at the Bowring hospital at Bangalore on Wednesday.

How and why Aarushi & Hemraj were murdered

This is the second narco analysis test being conducted on Rajkumar in 15 days. The test was conducted at Gandhinagar.

A Forensic Science Laboratory source told rediff.com that the second test was necessary as the first one had been a failure. It is said that Rajkumar, Talwar's colleague Anita Durrani's domestic help, had not revealed much during the first test.

The test, which got underway at Bangalore on Wednesday, focuses on the role played by Rajkumar in the murder. The test results of Krishna, a compounder at Dr Talwar's clinic, revealed that Rajkumar had tried assaulting Aarushi physically and when she resisted he allegedly slit her throat.

The CBI is also seeking answers on the role of Dr Talwar.

According to Krishna, the doctor was innocent and had no role to play.

Krishna had also said that he was upset with Dr Talwar as he had reprimanded him at the clinic. Hence, he wanted to take revenge by killing Aarushi. He said that the motive was two fold. Regarding Hemraj he had said that they had to kill him as he had threatened to reveal all.

The CBI is seeking more information on the role played by a mysterious third person by the name Shambu. Further they will also seek information about the weapon used in the murder and also the cell phones of both Aarushi and Hemraj.
