The $3 trillion plus budget presented on Monday by President George W Bush has called for increase in funding to support key allies in the global war against terrorism as well as funding to improve response to international crises.
Pakistan will get $830 million with a view to achieving stability in the Middle East.
Bush has also given priority to promotion of peace democracy and economic opportunity and reconstruction activities.
To promote stability in Afghanistan, the budget is $1.1 billion as well as $75 million for the Pakistani people to promote good governance.
