Chhagan Bhujbal will be Maharashtra Deputy CM

Senior NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal [ Images ] will be the new Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra [ Images ]. Bhujbal will also look after the Home department, party sources said.

Bhujbal replaces R R Patil who resigned from his post in the aftermath of the terror attacks in Mumbai [ Images ] last week.

Bhujbal was in charge of the same portfolio in the previous Congress-Nationalist Congress Party government in the state.
