Bengaluru blasts suspects to undergo narco tests

The seven Students Islamic Movement of India activists picked up in Belgaum in connection with the Bengaluru serial blasts will undergo narco analysis tests in the Bengaluru.

The seven persons are Liyakhath Ali Sayeed, Nasir Liyakhat Patel, Imtiyaz Abdul Jaz Dalayat, Nadeem Abdul Nayeem Sayed, Ajaz Ghulam Hussain Khan, Iqbal Ahmed and Tanveer Mulla. They were picked up in and around Belgaum on the Karnataka-Maharashtra border and police claim they had planned several terror strikes in Karnataka and also had information regarding the serial blasts in Bengaluru.

During the narco analysis, these persons will also be asked about the recent blast at a Hubli court.

An official at the Forensic Sciences Laboratory said that the medical fitness test has been conducted on all the seven persons. They will be subject to three rounds of tests each which include, polygraph, brain mapping and narco analysis.
