The body of a Norwegian skier, who went missing from the famous Gulmarg ski resort in north Kashmir in January, was recovered by the authorities from under the melting snow late Monday afternoon .
Francisca Rogne, who had arrived in Gulmarg on January 8 and checked in at a local hotel, had moved out for skiing with her gear the same day, but never returned.
A massive search was launched immediately after her disappearance, but no trace was found.On Monday her body was recovered from a mountain stream in Gulmarg.
Her body will be sent for an autopsy before it is returned to the family in Norway.
