Thirteen Uttar Pradesh Police constables were dismissed from service for allegedly producing fake documents and affidavits for recruitment during the erstwhile Samajwadi Party government in the state.
A senior police official Rajesh Modak told media persons in Kannauj on Thursday that these constables had been recruited during the previous regime and were posted in different places in the district.
