The Rajasthan police have taken into custody a man from Chanda village in Jharkhand for interrogation in connection with the October 11 bomb blast at the shrine of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti in Ajmer, the police said.
Following a tip-off, sub-inspector Ashok Kumar Sain, posted with the CID in Rajasthan, took Khuswar Rahman into custody on Wednesday night, Godda superintendent of police Biglal Oraon told reporters.
"He is being taken to Rajasthan for interrogation in connection with the Ajmer Sharif blast case," Oraon added.
Rahman had worked as a teacher in a madrassa at Churu in Rajasthan, he said. Three persons were killed in the blast that had rocked the shrine on October 11.
