After coming under fire from the Bharatiya Janata Party for "betraying" the party on power transfer, Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumraswamy on Saturday listed what he called its acts of "betrayal".

"Was not the Rs 150 crore bribery charges made against me by BJP legislators G Janardhana Reddy an act of betrayal by that party?" Kumaraswamy said on his return from Delhi.

Continuing his attack on the BJP, which has decided to pull out of the government, after the Janata Dal-Secular refused to transfer power, he asked "Is Sriramulu making allegations of murder against me not an act of betrayal?"

"The BJP minister quitting en masse without opening negotiations on power transfer…   is it not an act of betrayal act?"

Kumaraswamy questioned his coalition partner, which are all set to bring down his government tomorrow.

Kumaraswamy reiterated that he wanted to have a discussion with BJP on certain recent incidents, including torching of a bus bearing Tamil Nadu registration in which two persons were charred to death and the attack on the residence of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's daughter.

"Without discussion on these issues and ensuring protection to all sections, how could I hand over power to BJP?" Kumaraswamy said and left for an undisclosed location for consultations with his party men.

The JD-S has convened its legislature party meeting on Sunday.
