Taslima Nasreen taken to Rajasthan

Controversial Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen [ Images ] was on Thursday brought to Rajasthan [ Images ] from West Bengal [ Images ], a day after the outbreak of large-scale violence in Kolkata [ Images ] after protests over Nandigram [ Images ] situation and for cancelling her visa.

Official sources said the writer reached on Thursday afternoon and was discreetly taken to a safe place. The West Bengal police had suggested Nasreen that she could be moved out to Rajasthan.
