Controversial Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen was on Thursday brought to Rajasthan from West Bengal, a day after the outbreak of large-scale violence in Kolkata after protests over Nandigram situation and for cancelling her visa.
Official sources said the writer reached on Thursday afternoon and was discreetly taken to a safe place. The West Bengal police had suggested Nasreen that she could be moved out to Rajasthan.
