Bharatiya Janata Party leader Gopinath Munde's nephew was allegedly stabbed by two persons in Parli Vaijanath, Marathwada, on Tuesday and has been hospitalised in a critical condition, police said.
Rameshwar Vyankatrao Munde, 22, was allegedly stabbed with a knife by his friend Sunil and his father Madhukar Nagargoje over some dispute in Vidyanagar area, near the BJP leader's residence in Parli.
The father-son duo have been arrested and booked for attempt to murder.
Dr Harishchandra Vange of Sant Dnyaneshwar Hospital where Rameshwar has been admitted said he had suffered multiple stab injuries and was in a critical condition.
