A Central Reserve Police jawan shot two of his colleagues dead before training the gun on himself in Dhalai district of Tripura on Thursday.
A group of CRPF men of 133 battalion were patrolling insurgency prone Gandacherra-Ambassa road at Barabari in Dhalai district when one jawan had an altercation with two fellow jawans.
The jawan suddenly fired at the duo killing both of them on the spot and injuring another CRPF man, the police said.
The jawan then committed suicide by shooting himself with his SLR.
The injured CRPF man was rushed to Agartala Medical College.
CRPF and police officials have rushed to the spot.
