Seven members of a family, including five children, were on Thursday found murdered in their house near Jaipur, a senior police official said.
The bodies were found in a pool of blood with their throats slit down the collar bone at their house in Chandlai village, 45 km from Jaipur, Superintendent of Police (rural) Mehtab Singh said.
He said the bodies have been sent for postmortem.
The man was a central government employee in Jaipur, the police officer said.
