3 hurt in Bihar jail grenade explosion

Three persons, including two Bihar Military Police commandos, sustained injuries when a grenade being serviced by BMP personnel went off accidentally at the divisional jail in Bihar's Jehanabad district today, police said.

The grenade burst when it was being cleaned by the BMP men posted at the jail.

Two BMP jawans and a female visitor who suffered injuries, were rushed to the Patna Medical College and Hospital.

The condition of the BMP jawans and the visitor was stated to be critical, the police said. Superintendent of Police, Jehanabad has ordered a probe into the incident.
