A team of 20 advocates from India will be leaving for Islamabad on Friday to take part in the protest rally organised against Pakistan President Parvez Musharraf for sacking that country's chief Justice Iftikar Chaudhury.
"We will be participating in a big protest march organised against President Musharraf at Islamabad on March 17," said Yatin Oza, one of the 20 advocates who will be visiting the neighbouring country.
"Advocates from across Pakistan will be participating in this protest," Oza told reporters here today.
"The advocates from India will be going to Pakistan to show solidarity with the advocates of Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan," he remarked.
Oza, a former president of Gujarat High Bar Association said that he was visiting Pakistan on personal capacity.
The senior advocate of the Gujarat high court also said that other advocates from Mumbai, Delhi and Punjab were among those who will visit Pakistan.
