Claiming that India is yet to share with Pakistan any "tangible" information from the probe into the Samjhauta Express blasts, Islamabad on Saturday vowed to bring to book the perpetrators of terror attack.
Pakistan is committed to ensure that those involved in the tragedy are exposed and brought to justice, Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz said in Lahore after distributing ex-gratia relief among the victims of the blasts.
Aziz said it was a great tragedy, which had shocked the entire nation, including President Pervez Musharraf.
"We will not sit idle till those involved in it are tracked down and handed down punishment," he said.
"We had offered India joint investigation into the Samjhauta Express incident, but India did not agree. They are conducting the probe, but have not as yet given us any tangible information in this regard," Aziz was quoted by the official APP news agency as saying.
Federal Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad, Federal Minister for Textiles Mushtaq Ali Cheema and senior railway officials were also present on the occasion.
