Uttarakhand speaker to be elected March 12

The election for the speaker of the Uttarakhand [ Images ] Assembly will be held on March 12, Assembly Secretary Mahesh Chandra said.
Former Speaker and Bharatiya Janata Party [ Images ] MLA from Pithoragarh Prakash Pant was elected as the interim speaker.
Pant took oath as a minister along with Chief Minister B C Khanduri on Thursday.
