Sidney Sheldon, noted author and screenwriter, passed away on Tuesday. He was 89. He died of complications from pneumonia at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage.
Sheldon was born on February 17, 1917 in Chicago.
He is survived by his wife Alexandra and his daughter, author Mary Sheldon.
Sheldon is known for his books Rage of Angels, The Other Side of Midnight, Master of the Game and If Tomorrow Comes.
