Fourteen civilian passers-by were wounded in a militant grenade attack on a passing army convoy in north Kashmir Pattan town, Monday afternoon.
Police said militants tossed a grenade at a passing army convoy in main Pattan town on Monday afternoon - "The grenade exploded on the road, injuring fourteen civilians."
"Doctors at the Pattan sub-district hospital asked for six critically injured civilians to be taken to Srinagar for specialised treatment," said the officer.
Traffic on the Srinagar-Muzaffarabad highway was temporarily suspended as security forces carried out searches around the explosion site but no arrests have been made so far.
