Manipur: Notice for second phase of polls

The notification for the second phase of Assembly elections in Manipur was issued on Saturday with January 27 fixed as the last date for filing nomination papers.

Scrutiny of papers will take place on January 29 and the last date for withdrawal of nomination fixed on January 31.

The second phase polls on February 14 will be held in 29 constituencies.

Saturday was the last date for filing nomination papers for the first phase poll scheduled for February 8 in 19 segments.

The third and final phase of polling in 12 constituencies will be held on February 23.
