"Our government is prepared to prove its majority on the floor of the house if so warranted," Yadav said addressing a press conference in Lucknow.
The Chief Minister said RLD had not withdrawn its support and he was yet to receive resignations of the four ministers from Ajit Singh's party.
"I was in Lucknow and could have met him (Ajit Singh) to sort out problems if any," he said.
"I am always ready to meet him and discuss all issues related to the interest of farmers. The decision to announce cane support price was taken at a cabinet meeting where all the RLD ministers were present and they had not objected to the decision," he said.
The farmers of the state had not agitated during his tenure because they knew the government was keeping their interests in mind. All the cane dues were also cleared on time, Yadav said.
Even the cane support price in the state was the highest in comparison to other states. While fixing the price the government has to strike a balance and see that the sugar mills were not burdened, he said.
Four ministers of the Ajit Singh-led Rashtriya Lok Dal resigned from the Mulayam Singh Yadav government on Tuesday over farmers' issues.
