Unbelievable but true -- An eight-year-old boy in Begusarai district of Bihar has a tail over 6 inches long.

For villagers in his native village of Rani in the district, Roshan Kumar resembles a young monkey. The news about Roshan's tail has spread like wild fire and people from nearby areas have been thronging to have a glimpse.

Roshan is a standard II student in the village school

"The tail has been there since birth and it is growing slowly. It is a miracle," Roshan's father Avadh Kishore Rai told rediff.com on Wednesday.

According to Rai, children of his age in the village ridicule Roshan's tail and called him a tail boy or monkey.

"Sometimes, he even insists on having the tail removed. We tried doing so in the past, but it has grown again," Rai said, adding that a local doctor had advised them not to remove the tail and that it may stop growing soon.
