A Pakistani national injured in the blasts on Delhi-Attari special express died in a hospital in New Delhi early Tuesday morning, taking the toll in the terror attack to 68.
Admitted in a critical condition on Monday at Safdarjung Hospital, 15-year-old Harif Mohammed, a resident of Karachi, succumbed to his injuries at around 6 am.
He had suffered 55 per cent burn injuries, Safdarjung Hospital Medical Superintendent R L Salhan told PTI, adding that Harif had thermal, facial, and respiratory burns.
Harif and 11 other injured were shifted to Safdarjung hospital from Civil Hospital in Panipat on Monday.
Two powerful explosions ripped through two coaches of the train late Sunday night at Deewana, about 100 km from New Delhi. Bodies of eleven victims have been identified so far. These include four Indians and seven Pakistanis.
