At least four people, including three children, were killed in a bomb blast in Pakistan's central Punjab province on Thursday.
The bomb, hidden in a plastic bag, was triggered by a remote control at Taunsa Sharif area, approximately 600 km from the provincial capital Lahore, ARY TV quoted a police officer as saying.
The plastic bag suddenly exploded when the children fishing in the area picked it up.
Police described the blast, which created panic in the area, as an act of terrorism and said around three kilograms of explosives were in the bag.
No one claimed responsibility for the blast. The police launched a search but no arrest has been made so far.
