The bodies of the two Indian students of the Lousiana University who were murdered on December 13 will reach Hyderabad on Sunday morning, family members told rediff.com.

Allam Narayana, an uncle of one of the students Kiran Kumar said they were informed by the authorities that the bodies will arrive at 1.45 AM on Sunday by KLM airlines.

The bodies will reach the Hyderabad airport and then be flown to their respective villages in Andhra Pradesh. Some members of the families who had gone to the US may reach Andhra Pradesh on Thursday, family sources added.

From Hyderabad, the bodies of Allam Kiran Kumar and Komma Chandrashekhar Reddy, both PhD students, will be flown into Cuddapah and Karimnagar districts respectively. The funeral is expected to be attended by a large number of people, including officials from both the state government as well as the district administration.

Allam Narayana said they were so proud of Kiran Kumar. Describing him as a 'cool guy' Naryana said that the incident has shocked everybody. "In future we will never allow anyone in our family to go to the US," he said.

The members of the family said the authorities in the US have been supportive. "The investigating agencies are in touch with us and seem to be doing their job. However, the only worry is the pace at which the investigation may go on. I really hope to see results soon," Narayana said.

He also added that as per the information they have received, it seems as though the murder had taken place for gain. They were told that the two assailants had attempted to rob the two students before killing them.

The two were found dead in the Edward Gay apartment near the college campus last week. Gunshot wounds were found on their body.

The Andhra Pradesh state government is making all arrangements to receive the bodies at Hyderabad. State Minister for Energy who holds additional charge as the head of the department for Non Resident Indians in the state said that all help will be given to the families of the boys.
