Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Thursday said that people in Narendra Modi-run Gujarat are looking for a change as they have realised that the Bharatiya Janata Party's promises over the years have been hollow.
Addressing the Congress Parliamentary Party meeting, Sonia also made a veiled attack on the Communist Party of India-Marxist led Left front government in West Bengal by referring to the Nandigram incident.
She said such an incident should not have happened, CPP sources said.
Sonia said in Gujarat the government has been exposed on all major issues.
