Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Friday asked young scientists and engineers to use their knowledge and creativity at a high premium in the global nuclear renaissance.
"There is a nuclear renaissance taking place the world over and exciting opportunities await you. Your skills, knowledge and creativity will be at a high premium as the industry revives," he said addressing the graduation function of the 50th batch of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre.
Singh gave away awards to toppers of the 50th batch and the overall toppers of the one year orientation course for engineers, graduates and scientists from the first batch to the 45th batch.
Among those who received the awards were Anil Kakodkar, chairman Atomic Energy Commission, V C Sahni, director, Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology, R B
Grover Director Strategic Programme and G Rajashekharan, physicist from the first batch.
