The sole unclaimed body in Saturday's twin blasts in Hyderabad, was claimed on Monday by his family.

After making a positive identification, the family of 44-year-old John Israel on Monday claimed his body.

When a headless body remained unclaimed in the morgue for more than 24 hours after the tragedy, it led investigators to believe that it may be the body of the perpetrator who was caught in the horror of his own making.

Israel's brother Victor Immanuel told this reporter the family recognised him from his photograph shown on television on Sunday night.

On Saturday night, Israel stepped out to buy some television component and was caught in the blast at Gokul Chat.

The family believes that since he is particular about not eating outside, Israel probably took shelter from the rain in the eatery.

Israel is the fourth among six brothers, and is a junior engineer with the South Central Railway. His photograph was recovered from a mangled ID card in his pocket, and was shown on TV.

Saturday's horror in Hyderabad claimed 40 lives.
