Actor Sanjay Dutt [ Images ] on Tuesday moved the Supreme Court against his conviction by the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) court and applied for bail.

The special court convicted Dutt under the Arms Act and sentenced him to six years rigourous imprisonment for possessing illegal weapons.

Dutt had spent 16 months in prison as an under-trial.
