Jadhav polled 2,31,239 votes, while his nearest rival Subodh Mohite of the Congress bagged 1,98,668.
Bharatiya Janata Party and Nationalist Congress Party won the by-elections to the Jalgaon and Erandol constituencies in Maharashtra on Thursday, with their candidates Haribhau Jawale and Vasantrao More respectively securing a margin of around 25,000 votes and 52,000 votes each.
In Jalgaon constituency, Jawale bagged 2,27,619 votes against his closest rival Arjun Bhangale of Congress, who had polled 2,01,902 votes, election office sources said in Jalgaon.
In Erandol constituency, NCP candidate More secured 2,41,707 votes over his nearest rival BJP candidate B S Patil, who could garner 1,89,498 votes.
Eleven candidates were in the fray in the Jalgaon constituency, while 15 candidates were in Erandol constituency, sources added.
Nationalist Congress Party wrested the Erandol Lok Sabha seat in Maharashtra from the BJP in a by-election.
