Sahil Zaroo, an accused in the Rahul Mahajan drug abuse case, on Wednesday moved an application seeking to implicate three key witnesses as accused saying that they had procured the drugs.

In an application moved in the court of Additional Sessions Judge S N Gupta, Zaroo alleged that the witnesses -- Trishay Khanna, Rahul Malhotra and Karan Ahuja -- had made available and used the drugs on the night intervening June one and two last year when the incident took place.

Sanjeev Kumar, counsel for Zaroo, said that the call records show that Trishay Khanna had made 15 calls to one of the Nigerian nationals, Abdullah, accused in the case of supplying the drugs.

All three were present in the party organized at the residence of late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, father of Rahul, alleged the counsel.

After hearing the plea, the court listed the matter on April 11 for orders. Khanna was also cross-examined by the Sahil's counsel.

He told the court that he was not aware of what was Sahil's occupation when he met him. Khanna said that he had first met Sahil at a market place and later met him several times in parties.

He further said that he used to eat with him but on no occassion drugs were consumed. Mahajan and five others -- Sahil Zaroo, Harish Sharma, Ganesh Kumar Sinha, Abdul Latif Ashola Mohammed Abdullah and James Taiwo are accused in a drug abuse case.

The prosecution has accused Mahajan of distribution and consumption of drugs by organising a party on the night intervening June one and two.

Khanna told the court that he does not attend late night parties and he had seen drugs only on television and in movies.

He denied that he was drunk and intoxicated on the night of the incident. He said he did not remember the name of the police officer who recorded his statement.

Khanna, in his testimony on March 6, had fully supported the prosecution and had also identified Rahul Mahajan, who was present in the court.

Khanna had said that on June one last year he had received a call from Zaroo asking him to come to meet the Personal Assistant (PA) of late Pramod Mahajan.

But he refused saying that he was going to watch a movie and could not come, he said.

Later he was taken to Mahajan's hose where he found both Mahajan and Moitra lying on the sofa and frothing from their mouths.

He also helped in taking them to the hospital, Khanna had said in his deposition.
