Police have decided to subject two Pakistani militants arrested in Mysore to a truth serum test to elicit more information from them, officials said.

Mohammed Fahad and Mohammed Ali Hussain, arrested by police after a shootout on October 27, are reluctant to share information during interrogation, prompting police to make them undergo a truth serum test, the officials told PTI.

However, they could not indicate when the militants will be subjected to the test.

They said investigations had revealed that the militants had visited Bangalore on a couple of occasions.

Police are probing the mission for which they had visited the city in the wake of reports that they had planned to target Vidhana Soudha and its annexe Vikas Soudha, the officials said.

The militants have been refusing to accept that they had links with Al Badr, a Pakistan-based militant outfit, they added.
