Satyabrata Pal appointed high commissioner to Pakistan

Satyabrata Pal, who is currently's India's high commissioner to South Africa, has been appointed the next high commissioner to Pakistan.

He will take up his assignment shortly.

Pal succeeds Shiv Shankar Menon, who has become India's new foreign secretary.
