He captured the audience's imagination
I have met Pramod Mahajan at a Nasscom meet in Hyderabad in June 2002. He was with Chandrababu Naidu. In my brief interaction with him, I found him extremely knowledgeable on subjects of Telecom/ ITES and I still remember his address for the wit he had and the way he captured the audience's imagination during the first 2 minutes itself.

My last discussion with him
As a student of Mr Mahajan i want to share my experince with you.
There was a rally at Saraswati Bhuvan ground and Mr Mahajan was supposed to deliver a speech. I went to the place sent one message that Mr Suhas Sanghai from Ambajogai wanted to see him.
When some other person was delivering the speech he called me to the stage and enquired about what I was doing. He questioned me whether I attended the Shakha or not . I said, "Sorry sir, because of shortage of time I cannot. He said there are so many people busier than me in RSS who attend the daily shakha so why not me? Again he quoted me, " Next time you come to see me on RSS uniform" and he turned to deliver his speech. That was my last discussion with him.

Very personable
We met Pramod at a Casino in Las Vegas in 2001. He seemed very personable and we had a great conversation with him. Strange are the ways of destiny.

He shook my hand
It was 1998 general elections and Pramodji was at Bhandara for election campaign of BJP candidate Narayandas Saraf. The sitting arrangement was such that public was divided by small passage in between for leaders to reach to stage. I was purposely sitting in the corner of barricades to closely observe the gen-next leader. As decided, when he arrived I could see him closely and I just forwarded my hand for a hand shake. Pramodji who had already passed from near me noticed my extended hand and took two steps back and gave me a firm handshake. Since that moment I couldn't ignore even a single line of news about Pramod Mahajan. And the day since he was shot at, it was a mad hope that he will fight back and resurrect.
But it was not destined to happen. We have again lost a leader who had some vision. He was just unshakable. Even death has to fight for 12 days. And I am sure he must have welcomed the death also with the same smile he always gave to each and everyone during his lifetime. Pramodji we will miss you! India will miss you!

What I liked about him is the focus
I met Pramod Mahajan on the flight (Bombay-Delhi) quite a few years back. I had a casual chat with him in the flight. What I liked about him is the focus, sophistication and equanimity in his dealing with people around. I must also add that I also liked the style in his simplicity.

Leader with a smiling face
During his early days in Chembur he used to canvass door to door for election My favour for BJP was because of him an impressive young leader indeed with a smiling face.

His oratory skills were unmatched
I had seen Pramod Mahajan in Pune when he had come with L K Advani during his Rath Yatra. There was a certain confidence in the person when I heard his speech. You could make out that not Advani but he himself was the brain behind the yatra. As expected the assembly elections saw the BJP-Sena combine coming to power in Maharashtra. His oratory skills were unmatched and he was delight to be heard in the parliament which is othrwise filled with buffons. He was well read and also was the so called moderate face of the BJP.
His end was very sad and I pray God to give his family strength to overcome this tragedy (especially his mother.I dont know what must be going on in her mind? One son is dead and the other in jail.)This whole tragedy was very disturbing. May his soul rest in peace.

I received a medal from him
I have met Mr Pramod Mahajanji in the year 1997. It was a felicitation ceremony organised by the Pravin Commerce Classes (The Accounts Coaching classes in Ghatkopar) for all students who had got outstanding marks in the Final Year Of B'Com. Mr Pramod Mahajan was the chief guest for this occassion. I very fondly remember receiving a gold medal and a merit certificate from him.
His death is really shocking. May God give his family courage to face this tragedy.

He impressed me with his clarity
It was some day in October 1995. I had the pleasure and privilege of travelling with Mr Pramod Mahajan in a first class coach from Mumbai to Pune. I was going to deliver a lecture in an institute there and he was on his way to address a party meeting.
I had the opportunity of sharing so many things with him including the then much talked about "Hindutva" politics of BJP. He impressed me with his absolute clarity of his thoughts and ideas and presenting those with immense articulation. I became his great admirer after that meeting.
He has left an indelible impression in the hearts of crores of Indian youth. His loss is indeed a great blow for this nation.

I found him polite & down-to-earth
I met with him in December 2005, it was when we were waiting to get on the elevator as security personnel asked us to wait because Mr Mahajan was to take the same elevator, But Mr Mahajan objected to that and specifically requested us to join him in the elevator. I found him polite & down-to-earth person, May his soul rest in peace.

His charisma never faded
I have never met Pramodji but he is closer to me than any leader I had met. My ever clear memory about him was his snap in a daily in which he was lifting the school bag of a kid to asess the weight as some rules implemented about the weight limits of filled school bags. I remember his charismatic smile typical of Mahajan. I remember all his interviews and press conferences, which all had feature of good teacher who explains the topic with clarity & fun.
He was among the few leaders whose charisma never faded with a debacle, or change of political scenerio. For the past twelve days, like his millions of sympathisers I was glued to the net with prayers at heart for a miracle.
It never happened and today around five oclock here I opened the site to see the painful news that God put an end to his trauma plunging millions in grief.
I pray for his soul . I pray for his family to gather courage to face the loss. good bye Pramodji. We always miss you
