The Communist Party of India (Marxist) has entered into seat adjustments with the Asom Gana Parishad in nine seats for the upcoming assembly polls in Assam, although there is no formal alliance between them.
Releasing the list of 16 party candidates, CPI(M) state unit secretary Uddhab Barman told reporters on Sunday that both parties were not entering into a full-fledged alliance and the CPI(M) would not be jointly campaigning with the AGP.
