An Air Deccan flight from Coimbatore went off the runway at Bangalore airport on Saturday. All the passengers and crew were safe, a top airline executive said.
"There was a problem with the landing gears. The aircraft slightly went off the runway," Warwick Brady, Air Deccan chief operating officer said.
The aircraft was carrying 40 passengers when the incident took place while landing. "All the passengers are safe. There are no injuries", Captain Gopinath, chairman and managing director, Air Deccan said.
The aircraft went off the runway for a few yards, an airline official said.
