This round of secretary-level talks will begin in Islamabad [ Images ] on March 28 when the two countries meet for two days to discuss economic and commercial ties, a statement by the external affairs ministry said Monday. Talks on the Tulbul/Wular Barrage will take place in Islamabad on April 18-19, Siachen on May 23-24 in New Delhi [ Images ] and Sir Creek on May 25-26 in New Delhi. Terrorism [ Images ] and drug trafficking will be discussed on May 30-31 in Islamabad to be followed by talks on promotion of friendly exchanges on June 1-2 in New Delhi, it said.
The secretary-level talks will be followed by a review by foreign secretaries of the third round of the dialogue on July 20 and foreign ministers on July 21. A meeting of the joint commission will take place on July 22. The two countries have already held talks on two topics -- Jammu and Kashmir [ Images ] and peace and security, including Confidence Building Measures.
