In the wake of the announcement of assembly polls in five states, expelled Bharatiya Janata Party leader Uma Bharti today said she has advanced the decision to announce the launch of her new party from April 30 at Chitrakoot in Madhya Pradesh to March 21 to enable members of the new political outfit to contest the elections.

"In view of the polls in five states, we have decided to announce the launch of our new party on March 21, at Ramlila ground, New Delhi," Bharti told reporters at the 'meet the press' programme organised by the Indore Press Club.

Bharti said she was under pressure from a large number of workers from the poll-bound states to launch her party soon.

Bharti said her party's symbol, flag and name will be announced in Delhi.

She said while her new party will have a large number of workers, there will not be any big name as it hardly matters to her.

The new party will contest from all the five states going to polls, but her focus will be on the Lok Sabha poll as and when it is held, she said.

She also claimed that whenever polls are held in Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal and Madhya Pradesh, her party would form the government with a majority.

Bharti alleged that in Madhya Pradesh, the BJP and Congress have joined hands to overlook each other's mistakes, but her party will "expose" them soon.
