Following what were probably the most hectic international parleys in recent times, India and the United States on Thursday agreed on the process for implementation of the civilian nuclear deal of July 18, 2005.
According to this, the US will provide India with civilian nuclear technology.
India, in turn, will put 14 of its civilian nuclear reactors under international safeguards.
Is that a diplomatic coup, as the deal's vociferous supporters claim?
