Should we forgive the LTTE? Tell us

The LTTE [ Images ] has apologised for killing former India [ Images ]n Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi [ Images ], and urged India to forgive and forget in order to facilitate the peace process in Sri Lanka [ Images ].

The Sri Lankan government too wants India to get involved in the process.

But New Delhi [ Images ] -- which had earlier burnt its fingers by sending peacekeeping troops to resolve the crisis -- believes that by talking to the Tigers, it would be giving legitimacy to an outfit it has banned as a terrorist outfit.

Should we forgive the LTTE? Tell us.
