A Delhi court granted bail on Monday to Sahil Zaroo, a co-accused in the Rahul Mahajan drug abuse case.
Granting bail, Special Judge S N Gupta asked Zaroo to furnish a personal bond of Rs 2 lakh and a surety of the same amount.
Gupta also directed the 21-year old Kashmiri student not to leave Delhi and surrender his passport with the police.
Arrested in Srinagar on June 4, Zaroo was remanded to police custody on June 5. Subsequently, he was put in judicial custody from June 12.
Zaroo is accused of procuring drugs for late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan's son Rahul and his aide Vivek Moitra, who died after a party on June 1.
