A person was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly stealing former Indian cricket skipper Sourav Ganguly's gold chain and locket from his residence at Behala in the outskirts of Kolkata.
Police said Ganguly discovered the theft on Friday and lodged a complaint at the Thakurpukur police station, following which a person who had been engaged to change the upholstery was picked up for interrogation.
The man was arrested and the stolen jewellery recovered, it said.
