A Delhi [ Images ] Court directed the police on Thursday to register a case against the doctors and management of the city's Apollo Hospital for giving false information to public servants in the Rahul Mahajan [ Images ] drug abuse case.

Rahul Mahajan had been admitted to Apollo Hospital in a critical condition last Friday morning. Hospital officials had stated that there were no traces of drugs in his blood and urine samples. However, this was contradicted in a test done by an independent lab, which said that there were traces of cocaine and a cocktail of other drugs in his urine samples.
