Media reports have said that two persons arrested in Nepal have been handed over to Indian authorities for investigations into the Mumbai serial blasts.
Nepalese authorities handed over two persons, who were arrested from a hotel on Wednesday, to the Indian police on Sunday, national daily The Himalayan Post said on Monday.
"The two persons were taken to India through the Bhairahawa route and were handed over to the Indian police under the supervision of the Interpol," the daily said, quoting highly-placed sources.
Nepal police had been given names of six suspects by the Indian police in connection with the Mumbai blasts, it said, adding that the police is said to be searching for other two suspects in the case.
However, Superintendent of Police (Kathmandu) Dhak Bahadur Karki denied the reports saying that they have not arrested anyone in connection with the Mumbai blasts.
"Police on the same day arrested Gulam Hussain Chima and Aftab Huhaiddin Siddiqui from a hotel in connection with a five-year-old RDX case. They are being interrogated. So far there is no evidence that links them to the Mumbai blast case," Karki said.

Intelligence sources have confirmed that Nepalese police have handed over two Pakistani suspects to the Intelligence Bureau.
The sources said they were grilled at an undisclosed location for two days before being handed over to the Mumbai police.
"These suspects have not been handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation, but IB officials who are investigating the matter might have taken custody," a top CBI officer told rediff.com on Monday afternoon after some television channels flashed the news that the officers of Interpol have been given the custody of the suspects.
Incidentally these two suspects have confessed the involvement of Pakistan's Inter Services Intelligence in the blasts.
National Security Advisor M K Narayanan conveyed this information to the Prime Minister, who is in St Petersburg at the G-8 nations meet as a special invitee.
