Six domestic tourists were injured in a powerful hand grenade explosion in the north Kashmir resort of Gulmarg, 45 km from Srinagar.
Police said militants lobbed a powerful hand grenade inside a tourist bus at Gulmarg late on Wednesday afternoon.
"A grenade exploded inside the bus injuring 6 tourists. As of now, we know that 2 are from Delhi, 2 from West Bengal, while 1 is from Jammu," said a senior police officer on phone to rediff.com from Gulmarg.
He said all injured have been taken to the hospital for treatment.
The area has been cordoned off and stict security measures have been taken, the senior official said.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blast.
The attack comes a day after 9 people were killed in Srinagar in five separate grenade attacks.
