A day after raising Kashmir at the World Economic Forum, Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf on Friday raked up the Siachen issue and said his country cannot talk of trade and economic cooperation with India, 'when people are killing each other' at the border.

"When we (Pakistan and India) are quarrelling, do you think we can trade together? Remove the cause of hatred and then everything can be resolved," Musharraf told a breakfast meeting.

On Siachen, he said, "We are killing each other. We are eyeball to eyeball."

Asking India to hasten the peace process, Musharraf said, "I may be good to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. But is there a guarantee that the next person will be the same? We have to go for peace. If we do not, we will let down our next generation."

While the Pakistan President was busy attracting the attention of global community to Kashmir and Siachen, the Indian side was talking only business.
