Claiming that Bihar assembly Speaker Udai Narain Chaudhary's name figured in the case diary in last year's killing of its candidate Rajesh Kumar, the Lok Janshakti Party on Monday threatened to launch an aggressive agitation if the Nitish Kumar government did not recommend a Central Bureau of Investigation probe into the killing within a fortnight.
"We will launch an aggressive but non-violent agitation if the National Democratic Alliance government does not recommend a CBI probe into the political killing of Rajesh Kumar, in which the name of senior Janata Dal-United leader and Speaker Chaudhary has figured," LJP president and Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan said.

Paswan said that a party delegation, led by state president Gulam Rasool Baliawi, will call on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in support of its demand.
Rajesh Kumar and three others were gunned down near Dumaria in Gaya district on January 22 during electioneering for the 13th Vidhan Sabha.
