"Dharam Singh's government is a non-performer and it is good to get rid of him," Bharti told reporters in Hyderabad on her arrival in the city in connection with her 'Padayatra' in Karimnagar and Warangal districts to study the issue of farmers' suicides.

Asked about BJP's role in the efforts to oust the Dharam Singh government, Bharti said, "It is justified if the intention is to help people and not to make money."

She accused the Congress-led coalition government of ignoring the plight of farmers in the face of continued suicides in the state. "The farmers are facing lot of problems. Their problems should be addressed immediately along with the rehabilitation of the families of those who committed suicide," Bharti said.
