No political interference in Quattrocchi case: PM

Brushing aside the opposition charge, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh [ Images ] Wednesday asserted there was no political interference in the defreezing of London [ Images ] bank accounts of Italian businessman Ottavio Quattrocchi [ Images ], an accused in the Bofors scam.

"There was no political interference," Dr Singh told reporters after laying the foundation stone for the Central Bureau of Investigation complex in Delhi [ Images ].
