No political interference in Quattrocchi case: PM

Brushing aside the opposition charge, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Wednesday asserted there was no political interference in the defreezing of London bank accounts of Italian businessman Ottavio Quattrocchi, an accused in the Bofors scam.

"There was no political interference," Dr Singh told reporters after laying the foundation stone for the Central Bureau of Investigation complex in Delhi.
