Trinamool Congress chief Mamta Banerjee on Monday alleged that her telephone was being tapped.
"This is nothing new. My telephone as well as the phones of my party leaders are being tapped for quite some time at the behest of the Left Front government in West Bengal," Banerjee said in Kolkata.
The Trinamool chief said she could not discuss party affairs with her colleagues over telephone.
"They are also keeping a close vigil on my movements," Banerjee said adding, however, it had nothing to do with the phone tapping controversy of Samajwadi party leader Amar Singh.
