Rajnath Singh becoming the Bharatiya Janata Party [ Images ] president marks a change of guard in the party. With stalwarts A B Vajpayee and L K Advani [ Images ] stepping aside to make way for the Next Generation of leaders, all eyes are on Rajnath, a grass-roots level worker from Uttar Pradesh [ Images ].

He has already spelt out his priorities for the BJP soon after taking over: intensifying the agitation against the UPA government in New Delhi [ Images ], and working to strengthen the National Democratic Alliance.
